Friday Harbor Wolverines boys top Mt. Baker Mountaineers

Friday Harbor High School Wolverines hosted the Mt. Baker Mountaineers in Turnbull gym Saturday, December 11. Friday Harbor led by a 10 to 20 points through most of the game. The fast-paced game tightened up. With four minutes left on the clock, the Mountaineers was closing the gap with several three-point shots. Friday Harbor's lead dwindled to two points. 

At 9 seconds, the Wolverines had a 3-point advantage. The Mountaineers got the ball out of bounds and put it into play but were unable to score, giving the Wolverines the win 50-47. A very exciting game for all the fans.

The Lady Wolverines lost a challenging game against the Lady Mountaineers 55-24.

The Wolverines tip off against La Conner at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 13 in La Conner.
