Island golfers return from state tourney

Wolverine Coach Jack Rice sent in this eport and results from the state golf tourney:

Friday Harbor sent four golfers to the 1B2B High School State Tournament. Even though we didn’t make the second day cut into the low 20 golfers, it was a great experience for the players. I have to remind my players there are probably 100 golfers sitting at home today wishing they had played well enough to make the state tournament. Winning a spot to the big show is a Big Deal. They are all winners and I’m proud to be their Coach.
