There was one local race on the August 4, 2026 primary ballot in San Juan County. Three candidates, Renee J Koplan, Jennifer Swanson,  Katherine Bryant Ingman,  were vying to represent Lopez Island residency district on the San Juan County Council.

Jennifer Swanson received 1,901 votes (48.94 percent)

Katherine Bryanr Ingman had 1,428 votes (36.77 percent)

Renee Koplan had 526 votes (13.54 percent)

The top two  – Swanson and Ingman -move on to the General Election.
