Are you ready for the 2019 San Juan County Fair? Did you know you can save money by participating in the Fair?
The four-day event opens in four weeks, Wednesday, August 14. This year’s theme is “A Wheel in Time: Cultivating Roots.”
Youth, ages 5-16, who enter an item in the fair are admitted free. Adult exhibitors can purchase a pass good for all four days for $15, a savings of $10. Check out the 64-page online Premium Book to find out entry rules.
The popular Scarecrow Contest is back this year. There are numerous categories ranging from Photography, Junior Arts and Crafts, Baking, Fiber Arts, Trash to Treasures, Vegetables, Flowers and much more.

Artist Jessie Carter McDonald was selected by the San Juan County Fair Board to be this year’s poster artist.
Entertainment headliners include Spike & The Impalers, Robin Alice & Micaiah Sawyer, Duke & Mojo Nation & Pony Boy All-Star Band.
