Nov. 28: Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Mullis Center

If you’re looking for a special way to celebrate and give thanks, come to the Mullis Center, 589 Nash Street in Friday Harbor for a good old-fashioned community Thanksgiving dinner from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, November 28. You can show up any time between 12 noon and 5 pm to enjoy a traditional turkey feast on Thanksgiving Day. This is an opportunity to gather with a mixture of generations, meet with old friends, or make new friends. It is the one day a year where we all join in the camaraderie by being thankful for all we have.

There are many volunteer opportunities on both Wednesday and Thursday November 27th and 28th. We have preparations the day before, kitchen help on Thanksgiving, and opportunities to take home a seasoned, oven ready turkey on Wednesday afternoon and then roast it in your oven to bring to the Mullis Center on Thanksgiving Day. Or you can volunteer to bring a pie for dessert, Or can help for an hour with cooking and serving the meal.

To volunteer, sign up by following the link below or you can email or call us. Join us Thanksgiving Day!
