* The 21-20 triumph at Coupeville Friday gave the Wolverines wins in both games with the Wolves and eliminated a possible tie-breaking contest this week.
* Next action for the Purple and Gold is November 8 when they play at Oak Harbor against a team from District 4 from the southwest corner of the state. That opponent will be decided after this weekend. The winner of the game on the 8th advances to the state playoff.

* King pins of NW2BL. Going back to 2018, the local eleven has won 20 of 23 games against Northwest 2B League opponents. They are 10-0 over La Conner, 3-0 over Concrete and 7-3 over Coupeville.
